Brothers and Sisters,
We know that our communities and members are wondering what’s next as we navigate the best ways to respond to COVID-19. As we navigate the impacts of this virus, the NW Carpenters Union team will advocate for you, coordinate with employers to share best practices for a safe workplace, coordinate with benefit and training plans, and do our own part to reduce exposure and expansion of the virus.
We are providing this reference page as a resource with links to unemployment insurance, state Health department updates, and COVID-19 information from federal agencies. Our staff will help you find the resources to answer your questions. Regional Council staff are not virus experts, but we will do everything we can to assist.
Your union is here for you and we will work as your partner as we all learn to navigate this new reality. We are working hard on your behalf. Together we will get through this.
Stay safe brothers and sisters.

JOIN OUR MONTHLY MEETINGS
Our meetings are more than a social hour. We plan events ranging from introducing young women to construction, recruiting women that are ready-to-work, volunteering in our community, and civic engagement. We take a less formal approach to mentoring and we encourage members to take leadership roles in their lives, on the job, at their union, and in their community.
Brothers and family welcome.
