Northwest Oregon Labor Council, AFL-CIO Workers Helping Workers Food Drive on Sunday, March 14th 2021

(THIS IS NOT A LOCAL 1503 FUNCTION BUT DOES HELP UNION MEMBERS)

Hello Everyone!

Our first three food drives were a great success, so we are now getting ready for our fourth Workers Helping Workers Food Drive on Sunday, March 14th!  We are looking for another group of amazing labor volunteers to help get the boxes packed and ready to go!

The schedule is as follows (all info available at www.workershelpingworkers.com ):

Thursday, March 11th, Friday, March 12th and Saturday March 13th – Fill boxes at LiUNA Local 737, 17230 NE Sacramento St, Portland 97230 (see website for map and shifts)

Sunday, March 14th – Box distribution at LiUNA Local 737, 17230 NE Sacramento St, Portland 97230  (see website for map and shifts)

To volunteer, click on https://www.workershelpingworkers.com/volunteer-signup , enter all requested information and pick your shift.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are limited to the amount of volunteers we can have help at one time.  Please wait for your email confirming your approved shift, BEFORE coming to volunteer.

If you know of anyone who is in need of a food box, have them click on https://www.workershelpingworkers.com/foodbox-signup to reserve a box and time, or, just have them show up at LiUNA Local 737 on Sunday, March 14th between 10:00am and 1:00pm.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thank you in advance for your dedication to helping people in need during this difficult time!

In Solidarity,
